Forced to hide his identity up until now, Thaden soon learns that it may cause more trouble than it’s worth…
Even though he never intended it to happen, the events that occurred in the city of Forgestone have set Thaden on a course to fix the problems that he inadvertently caused. His inner sense of responsibility has now put him firmly on the path to eliminate or at least minimize the destruction and loss of life that could occur from the fallout of the SPECIAL Quests he’s been assigned, so he is putting all his focus on accomplishing this feat as soon as possible.
Thankfully, his journey and interaction with other Contenders is helped by the changes the Assimilation System put into place a short time ago, reducing—but not eliminating—the likelihood that he will be attacked by those same Contenders. Of course, time will only tell if everyone will get the memo and leave him alone; if not, he still has ways to move about in disguise, which he is hoping will be enough to forgo any problems that may come up.
But before he can throw himself into the search for the Anchor dungeons mentioned in the SPECIAL Quests he had been assigned, Thaden and his brand-new Class wants to find some stronger, more specialized gear with which to get himself better outfitted. To that end, his first stop is to visit a dungeon that purportedly has a higher likelihood of having Support-Class drops; however, The Devil’s Nail turns out to be nothing like what he had been expecting….
This story contains an overpowered MC with a normally non-offense-based Class, LitRPG progression mechanics and stats, and isekai/portal fantasy elements. Contains no sexual content or harems.

Okay here is book 3 in this series. I am seeding the first 2 books in the series for those to upload if they want/need them.
As everyone know’s, I like the author’s writing and, have shelled out money (credits) for his books in the past (and in the near future too lol).
I myself like the narrator (for some odd reason, his voice relaxes me and, I enjoy his clear narration).
Writing is great and, best of all…another harem free book. Don’t get me wrong, I like my harem LitRPG’s but, it’s nice to have some without and, still be a great listen.
Have a great Monday evening folks.

I see how much you like the series, all of the great reviews yet when I listened to the first 3 hours of the first book, the MC simply got his ass kicked and torn apart over and over and over again. Did I quit too soon?

Downfall with some of his books (Brooks) is that it takes a bit to get going or, the MC get’s his backside torn a new one for a bit.
I think the 1st book picks up nicely after the 4 to 4.5 hour mark and, is less of a ‘beat the heck out of the MC’ kind of thing.
However, not all books are liked by all people. If you like, try book 1 again and, see from there. No harm, it’s free.:)

Thank you as always. O love pretty much all the books you post which is why I commented on this series. I’ll be more patient and try again. I loved Fusionist too btw

Great upload speed on all three books! Thank you BD! I do enjoy this series as well as the narrator just like you… However I do have an issue with the main character, yes he ends up overpowered after a while, but if he is going around doing one objective at a time, why doesn’t he take a few extra minutes to clear out every single median and high difficulty dungeon along the way? Each and every single time he does that it would give him a world first achievement, if he had started doing that in book one he would be God like and book two and completely overpowered in the beginning of book 3 and have absolutely no worries! It just seems like a waste of potential. Also he lost all of those stat points going into personality, so putting them in there to begin with was a complete waste. Just saying :3 still a great series though!

@jkintzy57 not really, protagonist doesn’t change much throughout the story. Author leans into making his protagonist do something stupid or make mistakes to move the story forward. Protagonist never really learns from his painful lessons because that would mean the author would have think of a proper way to keep the story moving. It had potential.

I come here having not liked the first book but finding potential in it. Book 2 was a little better, especially the last chapters when MC finally starts standing for himself.
I have hopes for book 3, but not too much.
Thanks for sharing BD

Ok my hopes were rapidly crushed.
80% of Book 3 is just stats, spell descriptions and notifications. The MC character hardly does anything really.
What a waste of my time.

Thanks for this. One of my favorite authors in the LitRPG/GameLit genre. If anyone has the the holiday dungeon core novella 1-5 it would be nice to see it up here.
Ps. These Authors can use the support so if you can donate a few dollars to them and if you can’t at least go to goodreads & Amazon and give them 5 stars. I think it’s fair to give 5 stars for something you got for free even if you thought it was a 3 or 4 star book. Lower than that and I’d have to grade on a sliding scale because it probably wasn’t a book I should have been reading unless it was a really bad book. Just want to put it out there that these authors can’t work for free but we can help them in other ways by giving good ratings so more people buy their books.

You can tell he doesn’t write the books in one sitting. I’m 8:20 into the book now, and we’re not further along in the story than we were in book two. What’s happening is that he’s correcting mistakes from book two, the protagonist makes new ones, for which he then seeks solutions. But all without any plan. He just goes through life and takes it as it comes, and through a lucky coincidence, it somehow works out. The problem is, nothing’s happening, 8:20 is a complete waste of time . 2 hours stats into 8 hours ^^ Spoiler: He collects too many pics and is leveled up to the level cap for the next class. And he can’t find the dungeon. Now you can skip 8.2 hours.
