Okay, this is a solid book. I do like this author’s writing style and, the narrator does an excellent job.
Great attention to world details and, the system itself that is done is solid. I am looking forward to the 2nd book when it comes out.
Been busy at work since things have gone to hell in a hand basket so, will up as I got time.

Is it just me or does the narrator isn’t doing a really good job? I feel he’s never on the right tone. Overdoing or underdoing it for no reason, as if he was discovering the text and author indications only afterwards.

At certain points, he does over or under does it but, not as bad as some of the narrations I’ve heard. He is not Baldree but, he grows on you.
I also have all my balances and effects turned on so, that may help with any narration flaws like that. Will turn them off and, give it a listen to see if it makes that much of a difference….could be scary though….he may start sounding like Donald Duck on helium instead of a good voice artist. lol
