For anyone who read “The Good Guys” series it’s pretty clear that the author is anything but racist, the whole theme of the series is people of different species and races getting and living together for the common good. And about he’s political leanings I honestly don’t care, he’s social commentary is tasteful and he doesn’t try to shove his beliefs down your throat, the LGBT aspects are really well done, they just are and are not made a focal point of the character or the story. Compared to the rest of the american Left he appears more of a centrist on how to the extreme they went.
Anyway, sorry for the block of text, in conclusion, his books are really good and entertaining.
