I’ve always wanted to conquer the Big 5 dungeons ever since one of them took the life of my father nearly fifteen years ago. Nobody ever said the Path of Progression was easy, but my burning desire to dive can’t be quenched. I just never thought I’d be prohibited from getting a diving license just because I tried to help a bratty blonde girl get hers.
Soon, we’re joined by a lovely brunette bookworm, and we start diving the dungeon on our own terms. As it turns out, I have a few abilities that greatly increase our chances of actually finishing the Path, leading to a life of fame and luxury. Others soon notice the power I’m building though, and they’ll do anything to stop us.
I will conquer the Path of Progression with the help of my stunning companions.
That is unless the dungeon, or my secret enemy, kills me first.

I doubt the author could have made the MC and first 2 girls stupider or less likeable if he had tried.

I have to assume that the author set out to make the least likeable, most brain dead adventuring party the world of LitRPG has ever seen. There is no other explanation for book 1.

this was a hard listen.
Not sure if it gets better after book 1, but apparently it’s set in a frustrating universe where everyone is mentally challenged.
Would be somewhat acceptable if was targeted at children, but it has sex scenes..
And maybe somewhat acceptable if you were just after a graphic harem.. but it’s also completely generic and unsatisfying.
Dungeons are supposed to be the focal point of the action, but 90% of the action/fighting is skipped… and none of the characters seem to know anything about the world they inhabit.
Maybe was written by a LLM with minimal human oversight?
If you start book 1 and are annoyed at some plot hole, or that the characters seem to have almost no idea about the world around them, then stop there.
It just gets more frustrating.
