Vert is more ambitious than anyone knew. As launch day for their new MMO World of Supers looms, they announce that if players do something really over-the-top, they can become a permanent raid boss inside the game. Now Dylan’s antics will be pitted against streamers bent on immortalizing themselves in the gaming world.
When everyone else takes the game seriously, it’s only the casuals who have fun.

Thanks Nopoint for the upload.
I’m 5 hours into the first book now and came back to report. So far this has really exceeded my expectations. The writer actually knows how to write a book (rare for this genre) and the narrator was a great choice and plays the MC perfectly. The best compliment I can pay this book is to say that it is simply a fun listen. For LitRPG diehards I should mention that while it has the feel of a LitRPG, I’m not sure it qualifies (at least so far) by the strictest standards. There don’t appear to be things like levels and character stats. Don’t let that stop you though. If you like superhero novels, video game novels, or humor novels, then you should certainly give this one a shot.

Okay, finished the first book….LOVED IT! Funny, some seriousness but, taking things in a strange and whacky direction for the main character of doing their own thing.
I am going to be listening to the 2nd book (or begin to) after work today.
Have to admit, not what I expected and, yes/no it’s a LitRPG. I would say it’s one but, in a loose sense but, I got a feeling the next book might give more of a system than this first one.
Either which way, fun and a breath of fresh air.

All 3 books are very enjoyable. It is pretty much a guy trying to push the limits of a VR as the Villain.
Halloween is coming up, I kinda want to dress up like Dr Zlo.
