Yh The Primal Hunter is officially licensed and legit on Pocket FM. The platform officially partnered with the author. It’s Just abridged full cast version though.

It’s not only pocket fm Audible, etc… It’s just GA.
They Rework thier stories into graphic audio and all graphic audio are abridged version no matter the platform. you can search up why they do it, its too much to type.
Plus i find it weird how authors dont have a problem with it but other people do. It’s the same for books being turned into movies stuff will change.
i hope i don’t sound rude or anything… sorry in advance. just wanted to explain a bit

What does “1-100″ mean in relation to the books?
And why does GA has to be abridged just because everyone has distinct voice now and there are sound effects and music? I see that working fine using the original books.

@CiasphasCain231 you’re absolutely right, my bad it’s the Dramatized Adaptation of the book. i got it confused seeing its the same but GraphicAudio is just a company that does Dramatized Books. Sorry for the mix up.
I just pick any random cover photo on the internet lol. i am still on book one.

@Overlapt1783 its the company Zogarth worked with to produced the dramatized version. they release it per episodes similar to how Soundbooth released the Dramatized version of Dungeon Crawler Carl.

The weird sounds they add make no sense, sounds like a washing machine is running & OMM sounds for meditation is just wrong! Upload is ok, but they sound affects were done by someone who never read the books.

Did he really? I listened to the “dark magus returns” audiobook and the narrator does not sound like AI. It has weird choices for music and sound effects sometimes, like a “cha ching” sound effect for no reason suddenly or The Star-Spangled Banner music or some music similar to that.
I assume the selection of sound effects and music is made by AI, but the narrator is human imo. So to me that is fine. Imagine the work for all these sound effects otherwise. I don’t really care about them, if they make sense.

Reading up on PocketFM, it seems they use AI for stuff like help editing and production of a book an ACTUAL author wrote, “identify valuable content”, and most likely the sound effects too, I guess.
But it also clearly says: “Pocket FM thrives on its vibrant creator community, composed of skilled storytellers, talented voice-over artists, and imaginative writers.”
