Summoners were responsible for bringing the demon hordes to Elaria in the first place, and their existence has been purged from the marked bloodlines.

With his newfound powers, Elian must gain skills, fight the demons, and get himself and the other miners back to the city safely—but if anyone discovers what he truly is,he’ll be killed on sight the moment he returns.

Okay, I like the books from his other series so, we’ll try this one out.
Narration is done by 2 wonderful voice artists that have worked a great deal together and, provide excellent voices for the different characters.
It does have violence and some gruesome scenes (not ultra violent but, still). I like the idea and, let’s hope he continues in the next book along these lines.
