An impending apocalypse. An opportunity to prevent it. The challenge? Earn humanity’s survival by saving fantastical worlds from their own destruction. Simple, huh?
The vast comet should have destroyed us….
When it slowed, then landed, everything we thought we knew about the universe changed. And for Mark, things just got far stranger and much more dangerous.
They came from another dimension, condemning our selfish, greedy ways but sensing in us a potential to change. So when they chose Mark as a volunteer in their deadly trials to save the human race, how could he say no?
Join him on his quest for loot, levels, and powerful abilities. He’ll need them all as he fights in kingdoms large and small, battling demons and dinosaurs, vampires and robots, orcs and…fairies?
For Mark, the price of saving the planet looks to be a world of hurt. Maybe he would’ve been better off if the comet hadn’t landed so softly, after all?
Don’t miss the beginning of this new LitRPG series that promises a mix of action and adventure, swords and sorcery, and a sprinkling of dark humor.

Okay, sort of heard of the author and, seems to be good.
I have listened to and, heard of both narrators (and they do a great job with this book!).
Characters are insane and wonderful! Voices done for the different people/things in the book is great.
Stay safe folks.

Fated and Faded are two different things. It may hinder people searching for this title.

lol. Okay glad I check and read the posts on the torrents.
Sorry about the misspelling (changed it). I think I need to take a nap, these shifts at work are making my brain into a big pile of mush.
Now it’s ‘fated’ and not ‘faded’ anymore. TY for catching that spelling error.
Stay safe.

The book just keeps getting worse and worse. So much embarrassment(when the world is ending), Over and under thinking things at the same time, lying to one’s self(sense you hear the narrator’s thoughts), virtue signaling and other things.
As a reader this is clearly false humility. Also making characters dumber than they should be.

You can literally hear his inner self insert redditor leak out in the first few minutes by insulting several religions, insulting probably a decent amount of his potential readers, and then goes on to virtue signal about how he (the character) is a good person by listing off some generic good deeds like helping old lady across streets and tipping. And then he goes on to act even more pathetic and not in an endearing way. I can only expect it getting more cringe deeper into the book.

yeah, its no so bad. i think the humor takes some getting used to but once i accepted that the protagonist is just a dork it was fine. good narration. consistent writing decent editing
