Great liked it a lot well balanced action and story telling. I think the main character was a bit too op but the city building balanced it out very well. I look forward to the next book. That better be one help of a revenge he gets.

Amazing book. Up there with ascend online and the land. It’s also a good length as others had said. Can’t recommend enough.

Book like The Land series: character and town building, stats reading… litRPG as you know it, not as funny though.
At the beginning the squeaky and nasal voices made by Jeff Hays felt annoying, but then I got used to them, aren’t goblins supposed to be like that?
Story is from a “Pseudo-NPC” side which makes it different. It balances story telling and action as aerepairer says. After the first half I was so hooked to the plot that I couldn’t stop listening, and of course I am waiting for the second book.
If you like it too, support the author: can’t pay the USD 36 audiobook or subscribe to audible?, at least buy the kindle edition for 3.99 and Keep Shemer writing more books :)

Very enjoyable read and looking forward to the next book.
I did find a very flaw with the world logic but it could just be stupid characters. Problem protagonist became a monster race by a scroll solution admins change his race by admin powers or by scroll back to a non monster race.

the game mechanics are not consistant,
like accelerated time in game he spent maybe
10 minutes in game then called it a day…no
a decent gamer would not spend just 10 minutes
on a character he was going to build up even
after being so angry, they would plow into it.

The twist on the common theme of the Main Character being a human being acting for the good of humanity into one where the MC is actually one of and dedicated to helping the “bad guys” will be very intriguing to explore, I’m sure.
