I was getting turned off just at the description
“He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters…and that’s just on the first day.” All that could be at one camp or some BS and you are their bitch.

Everybody is right, this is some of the best LitRPG I´ve found here and not a second too long. Usually when books get this long it´s because they use 5-7 minutes every 30 minutes to read out the character sheet, none of that nonsense here, just good storytelling and plenty of action

One of the most annoying protagonists ever and im a atheist. The characters are just strawmen for his atheist/socialist rhetoric. The mc just goes around and pwns religious people with “facts and logic” and they love him. Embarrassing.

Being skeptical aka an atheist is a good starting point until proven wrong. He gets to meet gods(super beings) and they respect him for not groveling and the god of knowledge asked him what is the difference between a diamond tier(highest level) wizard and a god or something like it
Gods are simplify super beings which might help you.
Its a good story, the world is solid, some of the characters are good and book for takes it to a new level.

Loved the idiocy of this kid. He really does represent reality. Some will for sure get turned off by the silly childish humor and behavior. But that’s my kind of funny.

Amazing book some people say the main character is always right and way smarter than he should be and that he has an answer for everything.. I noticed it but I thought it was because he was leveling up. And with his increase in levels he gets smarter and his attributes increase? Maybe im wrong but I enjoyed it very much!!

This was the first litRPG I ever encountered, and the first time I had even heard of the term. I took a chance on it on Audible based on the reviews and am very, very glad that I did. It did take a bit of time to get into, mostly because of the necessary suspension of disbelief involved when text screens suddenly start popping up everywhere, but I stuck with it and I’m glad I did and I think of the characters almost as old friends- friends whose attitudes I do not necessarily always agree with, but none the worse for it. I suggest you buy a copy rather than downloading to for free -preferably though some platform that does NOT benefit Amazon- in order to support the author. Kind of voting with your money for the series to continue. But whether you do or not, it’s a wild ride and an amazing journey. It’s not for everyone of course- some people just can’t be pleased. And I have the occasional gripe. But compromise with me, okay? Download it for free here and if you like it… go buy it. And buy the rest of the books too. Your money will be well-spent in a most worthy cause.
