This is a great book for the 1st in the series. I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting to be as good as it is/was but, was nicely surprised.
Gilliland does an excellent narration as usual and, the story is extremely well written. Some mild cursing threw out and, best of all, it keeps you wanting to read more as it goes along, keeping you into the book and, not making it feel like a drag.

@fall19: Yes, it does ahve a bit of romance but, nearly all LitRPG books have it.

Interesting book, but has too many view points for my taste… specially for a progression story.

I do admit it has several viewpoints however, if the author can keep this up (though some may not enjoy it), it could really make the entire story/saga even better than a straight up writing format.
At first I was taken back (slightly) from it but, reckonized the flow of writing and, think it makes the listening and, overall story better.
It is a different way to write a LitRPG/fantasy story and, hope it continues threw like this to the next book in the series.

Good quality upload.
Compelling story.
Truly cringeworthy voice acting, esp for the female characters.

I also dislike the narrator. The male voices are fine but the female ones feel incredibly amateur.
As for the story, I only made it 2 hours before dropping this book. Like the narration, the writing feels amateur.

Thanks for the upload!
It starts good, but then, around half way through, the book starts to lose its way. Some of the plots and characters are abandoned or ignored, the power level and mechanics get too blurry and random, the story starts to tumble over its own feet and modern values are introduced, making this seemingly simple and snappy action/progression/cultivation story into something else.

Plum Parrot did great with the Cyber Dreams series, fortunately this is not part of the at series. To many view points, looses the plot, gets stuck in the weeds and seems to see the trees for the forest.
