Thats all off of the top of my head.
I would also highly recommend the Prince of fools trilogy as well as The Wolf of the North but they’re just fantasy novels.
Bobiverse is pretty good sci-fi along with the hard luck hank series. Larry Nivens The State trilogy is an oldie but goodie as well.

This series is AWESOME!!! Better than The Land IMO. If you like sci-fi settings more than fantasy for LITRPG then this is your ticket here. I finished book 1 in one straight go. Not bad fot a 12hr plus listen.

My other 2 would be the very popular Chaos Seeds and Critical Failures(Caverns and Creatures) I would agree with jonwb’s list. But I would add Bathrobe Knight, it’s been around longer than Chaos seed and has finally just got an audio version. Off to be the Wizard is ine of my favorite all time books but I personally don’t classify it as LitRPG, although it is highly debatable. I would consider Ready Player one more LitRPG, though, and that is in my all time top 3. The movie will be interesting…

Funny you mentioned the movie (ready player one) i just checked out the trailer last night & idk?
Got high hopes but i think they mighta went too flashy, i’ll hold real judgment till i see it but looked more like a Micheal Bay than a Spielberg film. They nailed the “stacks” tho…looked exactly how i pictured it.

LMAO! I agree 100%. This is the message I sent my friend when I saw the trailer in July “Just watched it. It’s funny, 90% of the trailer just shows stuff that never happened in the book, all action, no real plot mentioned. But trailers can be misleading and they only have so much edited footage to work with right now. I still have high hopes. I think they were just showing off all the graphics and action, all the “cool” scenes. In the end, I hope they stick with the original intent of Cline’s love letter to the 80’s and not this bastardization of a bad Michael Bay film the teaser trailer advertises. Ernest did help write the screenplay, so fingers crossed.”
