If your married with kids then you might just fall in love with this book. I however with neither a wife or offspring couldnt get through the first 1.5hrs.

The first 8 hours has tones clearly drawn from the Swiss family Robinsons.
its not bad just different it does change later in the book.
Right at the start it does have religious aspects but its more of like a God and devil making a bet with each other on humanity and if the chronicles of narnia didn’t bother you this won’t either.
I’m interested how its going to resolve the issues it creates or if its a trap the mother has fallen for

If you can get past the first half of this book the rest of the series is pretty good.
