Okay, have never heard of the authror before. Took a risk cause I have heard of the narrator.
Writing is solid and, I am around the 5th chapter in this book.
I do like the narration (clear and crisp).
After this one is seeded good, I will up the 2nd book in the series.

This book is pretty much garbage. It tries to be so cutsey that it ruins any good impression of any of the characters that I had. The elf girl is a characture of a stuck up rich girl, the rogue is too cowardly to do things right, the healer is so naive that she’d tell anyone anything if they asked nicely, the android is rash as all hell without any good reason, and the dragonoid has no thoughts of his own. Each and every character is bad and each scene is full of cringe. I had to turn it off and just sit in my car in silence a few times because of second hand embarrassment - not for the characters, but for the author for writing such a monument to bad writing.

And for the person thinking that the gnome was supposed to be support, I understand your confusion since it was poorly written, but that gnome was supposed to be the rogue. It was his android brother that was supposed to be the “support” but was really just author insert leadership stuff
